UBI

UBI, Ultraviolet Blood Irradition, is a procedure that exposes the blood to light.

This heightens the body’s immune response to kill infections. With exposure to UV light bacteria and viruses in your bloodstream absorb 5x as much photonic energy as do your red and white blood cells. This further activates and directs your immune system to the specific infections your body is attempting to overcome. Research has show that UBI produces many positive benefits.

40 ccs of blood is ran through an Ultraviolet light, which induces a beneficial systemic response.

The number of UBI treatments a patient needs is determined by variables such as the state of health of the patient’s immune system, length of time the patient has been ill, and severity of the disease being treated.Typically patients see improvement after 4-6 treatments even more benefit is experienced with up to 10 treatments. Many patients then come in for a monthly maintenance treatment.

At your appointment, 40 ccs of blood will be drawn from your vein.

The blood is then mixed with saline. This blood-saline mixture is ran through a device that exposes the blood to two different wave lengths of UV light. After the blood has been exposed to the UV light it is returned to the patient via a slow IV drip. The whole process is relatively quick; patients can usually expect to be done in 15-20 minutes.
